Roberts CRD19 DAB Clock Radio review

November 24, 2008 by Our Radio Alarm Clock Correspondent

While this may not by the prettiest clock on the block, it does offer a nice array of features for your bedside table. It’s large, easy to read display is perfect for those who hate to have to squint at night to see the time, and the options on this model make it perfect for those who like a lot of choice when it comes to their clock.

The dual alarm is very useful if you have a spouse that likes to sleep in a bit more than you, or if you need to get up a different times during the week. The clock sets itself automatically so you never have to worry about it being fast or slow. Offering both DAB and classic FM you will have your choice of stations to choose from, and the adjustable sleep and snooze timer comes in handy when you like a bit more rest between buzzers.

If you have an MP3 player or iPod you can use an auxiliary plug in to listen through the clock’s speakers, and you can also plug in headphones so you don’t bug your spouse if you want to listen to the radio before going to bed.

The Roberts CRD19 DAB Clock Radio is perfect for anyone who wants a clock that looks like a clock instead of a piece of modern art, and wants all the functionality of FM radio, DAB and MP3 input. With great sound, clear display and easy settings this clock is at the top of the class.
