White Revo Blik DAB Digital Clock Radio review

December 4, 2008 by Our Radio Alarm Clock Correspondent

Many will think that the Revo Blik DAB Digital Clock Radio’s design is less than pretty, but with its mod styling and array of features it just might grow on you, if you like that whole Star Wars look. Giving you the option of DAB or traditional FM radio as well as many other features, this unit makes up for its lack of fashion with a whole lot of function.

The Revo allows the user access to over 9,000 radio stations, as well as letting you listen to streaming music from your PC or MAC. The large black LCD screen give you all the information you need as well as having a digital alarm clock with sleep and snooze functions. You will get nothing but clear music on this unit as it is interference free, and as an added bonus you can also listen to your iPod through the amazing speaker system.

The Revo Blik DAB Digital Clock Radio is one of the few systems out there that is ready to roll with DAB+ digital radio, which isn’t even available yet, and also give you access to Wi-Fi internet radio as well. The remote control lets you control the unit from across the room, and stereo RCA line-out connectors lets you hook your DAB radio into your standard stereo for an even better listening experience. This unit pretty much covers any feature a user could want, from DAB and internet radio, iPod connectivity and clock and alarm features, all crammed into one unit. Is it growing on you yet?
