Pure TEMPUS 1XT DAB Radio Alarm Clock review

Anyone who likes to keep a touch of the ‘good ‘ol days’ around will love this retro-styled clock that is funky and old-fashioned, yet stocked with all the features of a regular alarm clock. The Pure TEMPUS-1XT DAB Radio with Clock / Alarm definitely does a good job of combining the new with the old with its wood exterior and touch sensitive snooze handle.

The alarm clock features are definitely modern, with 3 presets that you can set for weekdays, weekends or just Saturday or Sunday. iStation Alarm Clock Radio For iPod review

Wow - this is a seriously great ipod clock for the price. While the sound may not compare to top quality stereo makers like Bose, the sound is still pretty good. In small spaces, like a bedroom, or large spaces such as a kitchen or living room this unit performs fantastically. If you have been waiting to get an ipod clock because the prices have been too high then your wait is over, because you are not going to get this type of quality for a better price.

While the model itself is simplistic in its design, it exudes a certain cool confidence that makes it a nice piece for the bedroom. Alarm clock functions allow sleepers to choose from buzzer, radio or ipod playlist. As a bonus, when you plug in your ipod at night it will be fully charged and ready to go when you wake up in the morning.

It may not be a top quality player, but it could certainly pass for one if you are not super picky about the sound. The iStation Alarm Clock Radio For iPod is a perfect gift for adults or teens with ipods that want the option to wake up to their favourite tunes. Pure Siesta DAB Radio Alarm Clock review

Pure is a renowned manufacturer of high quality DAB digital radios - the Siesta product brings the same high quality, but at an affordable price.

This radio alarm clock has 8 DAB and FM station pre-sets – so you don’t need to worry about hunting around for your favourite stations and 3 independent alarm options. It has the standard sleep and snooze functions and a light sensitive display – which is a great feature.

If you are looking for a high quality digital radio alarm clock, without breaking the bank, then the Siesat is definitely worth considering. See the Pure Siesta DAB Radio Alarm Clock at Marks and Spencer.

PURE Chronos CD DAB Clock Radio review

Wake up to digital quality sound with this DAB clock radio. One of the best features of this digital clock radio is that the clock always has the correct time. If you have a power cut during the night, the time automatically sorts itself out – meaning you will never be late for work again!

The digital radio is of typical high PURE quality, and the clock radio also features a CD player and a FM tuner with 20 presets. The LCD display automatically brightens when the room is light so it can still easily be seen, and dulls down when the room is dark so it doesn’t lighten up the room when you are trying to sleep – while still allowing you to see the time.

The alarm feature is particularly well thought through, allowing you to set an alarm to repeat every weekday, so you don’t need to turn it off before bed on a Friday night – or run the risk of being rudely awoken – and you don’t need to remember to set it again on a Sunday night.

All in all, it’s a great alarm - it is not that cheap but we feel it represents great value for money. The PURE Chronos CD DAB Clock Radio is available on the Currys website.

Neverlate Executive Alarm Clock review

September 9, 2008 by SleepyBob · Leave a Comment

This alarm clock has everything! It is ideal for a couple who need to wake up at different times. You can set alarms for 2 people at different times every day of the week – so if you need to get up at 7am on a Monday, 10am on a Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday, that’s no problem, just program in the different times and away you go.

In fact, pretty much every function of this alarm clock can be tailored to your needs – the alarm duration, the snooze duration and the brightness of the backlight can all be set to your individual requirements.

Another great feature of this alarm clock is the gradual wake up mode, where the radio gets louder and louder the longer you leave it on. Descending snooze is another great feature, every time you press snooze it gets shorter and shorter, so you have to get up in the end!

Add to this the USB port to plug in your ipod (or other generic MP3 player!) and the 20 preset radio stations and you have a great all round alarm clock.
